Long-standing Experience

Franck & Tobiesen have accumulated a long-standing experience in the crewing business and is acting as agents to one of Poland’s most estee­med crewing companies, Polaris Maritime Services. All crewmembers hold valid certificates in accordance with the 1978 STCW Convention also comprising the 1995 amendment.


The present crewing database lists more than 4,000 seafarers. Their English language skills have been tested by the standard Marlin system (as recommended by shipowners in London). Furthermore they are experienced working in crews of mixed nationality.

Franck & Tobiesen arrange and assist with all crew changes.

Also offered is full administration management for all sailors including handling of payrolls, thereby saving owners the in-house personnel costs.
